It is important for a security guard to understand the terms listed in the Use of Force Model, and understand the appropriate action that can be taken at any given time.
An example of a behavioural response in the Use Of Force Model is, Passive Resistance. This is a behaviour that an individual could display toward a security guard.
By definition, Passive Resistance is the non-compliance to a lawful request through verbal defiance with little or no physical response. ****
These factors should also be considered when determining the amounts of force to be used are:
